Apprenticeships help businesses grow their own talent

Apprenticeships are at the heart of the Government’s drive to equip people with the skills that employers need to grow and compete.

Apprenticeships are at the heart of the Government’s drive to equip people with the skills that employers need to grow and compete.

To hear from real apprentices about what an apprenticeship has helped them achieve and how it has delivered for their organisation, speak to the apprentices taking part in the Brathay Apprentice Challenge, the official search for the apprentice team of the year.

Now in its fourth year, the Brathay Apprentice Challenge sees teams compete in a series of work-related challenges: developing new skills, benefiting their local communities and raising the profile of apprenticeships.

The teams are undertaking regional heats which consist of awareness raising activity and a community project. The awareness raising activity involves teams speaking to local employers in their region and throughout their industry, as well as local schools, colleges and community groups.

The teams are hosting business events over the next few weeks that will showcase the benefits that they have brought to their organisation.

If you would like to receive details about the events delivered by apprentices in your region please email brathay-apprentice-challenge@brathay.com and you will receive a full list of exciting and engaging events. Please include your organisation name, address, your name, job title, telephone number and email address.
